We were getting Jack s*** at the rim so might as well have just chucked jumpers.

Attacking at the basket this game meant:
-blocked shot
-uncalled foul
-turnover
-foul but we miss fts anyway
-ref erases real basket
This so much sums up this game.

Oh yeah and we couldn't hit water from the side of a boat.

Why is Walker in the game

I love the guy, and I think he plays hard and defensively key but his increase in minutes the past few weeks have been perplexing to say the least. Randy Peterson pretty much asked Coach TJ, Brockington, and Conditt what was the “wow” moment with Jaden Walker and TJ wasn’t specific Brockington said the key defensive stop at Fort Worth, and his put-back dunk, and Conditt seemed confused and did not answer. Aside from his defensive presence, I almost would rather have Tre Jackson for offensive reasons.

I think there is a real possibility we lose out before the dance. If that happens, I still see us no worse than a 10 seed.

Perhaps. But in a year where the goal (at least for me) was to make the tourney, coming of a total rebuild after a two win season....that's not bad. Leaving some on the table, yes...but I'll take the tournament and embrace whatever seed we end up with.

The officials were awful at a critical point in the game and gave momentum to Okie St. We were not good enough to stop it and it all went downhill after that. You might say it doesn't matter because of point differential, BUT, if you have EVER played a minute of basketball, you know, unless you are a terrific stud, there is more pressure in a close game and shots don't fall as easily. Your ******* is not puckering as much when you take a shot when you are ahead by 10 -12 vs. 2-3. When you are GIVEN an advantage, you can ease up and not press your play as much,. let things come to you and more often than not, good things happen.

The officials GAVE them an advantage and they capitalized on it. Good for them.

BUT DON"T TELL ME THE OFFICALS HAD NOTHUING TO DO WITH THE LOSS. They certainly did and the younger white dude was the biggest problem in that 5 call fuckup he called officiating part way through the second half..

We were also too hyped and emotional and shot like crap comparatively. But we were still tied with them (or within 3 really) midway through the second half before the terrible calls started happening.

The turnover at the end of the K-State game was a wow moment. His on the ball defense was a big reason IB stole the ball and made that jumper at the end of the WVU game. For the 7th or 8th guy off the bench he's had plenty of "wow" moments. Why is everyone surprised TJ played him tonight? Have you not watched the games in the last 2 weeks? Yes, he had a rough night tonight, but he did plenty off the bench to help the team on that 4 game win streak. Some of you just lose your damn minds over a loss.

I'll give you this....the bad calls (and they were really bad) did happen at the turning point of the game. We'll never know if that would have got us over the hump. As it stands, it all went downhill from there. Bottom line though....is we have to be better on offense. Have to be.

The same red flags present under Prohm have been evident in Big 12 play and the same concerns I had for the hire. Staff doesn’t show ability to make changes mid-game.

Kyle Green has made this a competitive team defensively but the lack of offensive tactician is going to bite us until we address it with an assistant hire I’m afraid. TJ doesn’t have it…we run the same predictable crap without changes or wrinkles every f***ing game. We’re poor on inbound plays. We’re poor out of timeouts. We decided George Conditt and Robert Jones were the best way to start an offensive possession. The indicators are there that the staff is in over it’s head offensively.
I'm about 100% sure you cannot or should not make a post like this with any seriousness. This was one game. Horrible yes but just one game. How can you sum up the good games that we played this season?

We have played maybe above our heads more often than we should have this year. Tonight it caught up with us. We keep playing like this then I think you have a point.

Walker had been at least giving some serviceable minutes but I counted 3 passes in the K-State game where he made the dumbest, most horrendous passes I've ever seen all in the span of 5 minutes.
It's no surprise to me his minutes have been sporadic, he shows glimpses but he's nowhere close to being a solid player yet either.

Pretty sure Malone was the won who called Conditt a POS during a game so it's par for the course.

All I'm gonna say is that saying "this was one game." is just posting in bad faith.

Great point. Did Enaruna not play a minute tonight?
