This is the first year I’ve watched the NFL in probably 6 or 7 years. Is it normal for both AFC games to be on one day and both NFC games to be on the other? I feel like they used to have one from each conference each day?

I didn't think of that. Maybe it has happened in previous years, but I swear this is the first time they've done it that way.

It is now Mahomes and the Chiefs league. You had your fun Patriots.

Say what....

But seriously, the AFC will have Mahomes, Lamar, Josh Allen and Watson. Should be really fun to watch the next few years.

And there he confirms he’s not retiring. You could tell he wasn’t happy much of the year so it’ll be really interesting to see where he plays next season. Chargers are often mentioned but I don’t know that they’re likely to be strong contenders to win and New England certainly has a lot of holes on offense to fill to be contenders again.

From his comments, if he's not playing next year, it would be that NE didn't want to keep him. That's doubtful but who knows, not totally his choice. Maybe reading too far into it but he said "hopefully". That's just odd.

One of those doesn’t belong. Josh Allen? ROFLMAO.

He's clearly not those guys but he doesn't have the weapons any of them have and he's on a few years behind in their build. Bills are an interesting team going forward, especially with NE swirling the drain. Phillip Rivers isn't Manning or Brady but he had plenty of battles with those guys, I see him like that, never get it done but be in the mix.

Tonight is probably a much different night if the refs uphold the TD after the punt play. That was the right call by the book, changes everything. People would be all over his jock if they had won tonight.

It kind of makes sense if all AFC games are on Saturday and all NFC games are on Sunday the whole playoffs to prevent some teams from having to play on a slightly shorter week. I don’t know if that’s the case though. I know my 49ers play next Sunday, so maybe it is?

They talk about if Brady would go somewhere els . Where would he go?
Tampa? Washington? LOL

Denver. It's where HoF QBs go to win two Super Bowls before they retire (or, in Elway's case, he was always there but the rest still applies).

Lamar Jackson is the next RG3. With a full year of tape on him, I expect NFL defenses to limit him next season and he'll start racking up injuries with his style of play....just like RG3 did.

They had plenty of film on him from last season.

I whiffed on him too, but he's put time in to work on his throwing and understanding concepts and improved as a result, which separates him from the RG IIIs and Michael Vicks of the world.

We shall see.....but everyone was telling us RG3 and Mike Vick were going to revolutionize the QB position when they were coming up through the ranks, and they didn't. I'm not saying this as some kind of hot take, a lot of the talking heads out there are saying some kind of variation of the same thing. Those same talking heads also hype up players like these first before tearing them down.....so, take that for what it's worth.

I'll stick with my prognostication though, just like I did with RG3 before he was drafted.

You could very well be right.

But RGIII and MV were two QBs who relied on skills more than learn the game. LJ reads defenses.

Nope, next week it is 1 of each both days so Niners will get to play somebody on bit of a short week. And your 49ers play the 1st game Saturday not Sunday.
