When is the spring game?

We will hear about the loss all tournament from the announcers.

Would you rather be Sweet Sixteen or win games at the B12 Tournament?

This is why I'm done watching- at least until elite 8 when hopefully the focus will be on other teams.

I received a job offer today for a great job with a big pay increase and I am utterly depressed. Thanks State

This is Ironic, because I also received a great job offer today with much higher pay than I thought. Too bad I can't enjoy it today

When I was six, I learned how to box out. That is one of the easiest aspects of the game. That's the stuff that you are supposed to keep with you as you progress as a player, especially an elite player The shot goes up, you find a body and put a butt into them. Period, end of story. It felt like this team assumed every rebound would just fall into their hands. Embarrassing effort of the boards. Embarrassing effort in general. Hopefully they learn to finally grow from your mistakes and cut this crap out in the future.

It's been a problem all year. It was really awful during the game in Norman too.

To you both: Career advancement is ultimately way more important than what just happened. Congrats to you both, and celebrate your personal achievement.

This team was light years ahead of the talent we had in from 2001 till Fred arrived. That's what I'm looking at. Last two years we probably didn't have all the pieces for a deep run in the tourney. We could make noise with the talent but not enough. It was there this year but we folded up mentally.
The previous two years had more "critical" talent. Having a better 7th or 8th man is overrated. And no one would say light years ahead. There is a reason why we had a POY and two AA last year with the same record/RPI.

Being better than McD's teams is not saying much, and no this team does not have more talent than Brackins, Gilstrap, Hamilton, DG, JVB, Scotty- it just plays better.

We had two AA last year, including one of the biggest physical mismatches in college basketball. Who is the physical mismatch this year? Most good teams have a big man that can make Georges need to pass. The 12-13 team was more talented than both but had worse luck. Spangler is not missing that layup in 12-13.

This year we had less pieces, albeit different ones. McKay is Ejim with shotblocking, but we lost more than that in Kane. We have one complete guard- that does not bode well in the NCAA. Neither team has the muscle downlow or overall size.

Niang wasn't the same player this year. There were signs of that all year. Almost played like the success got to his head. He was forcing it too much in this last game.

That and BDJ is a bad egg. He just is. It was obvious what kind of person he is when the whole story about his neighbors came out. If that's the way he acts off the court then that's the kind of person he truly is. You can't reference an interview or article about him to justify he's a good person. Of course he's going to portray himself that way to the public. Character is shown off the court and that story really reflected poorly on what kind of personality he has. Unfortunately it didn't look like he adjusted real well once he lost his starting role and McKay started to take more of the spotlight.

Haven't seen anyone mention this, but the worst part about today is that we lost to a ******* Jayhawk!

Poor effort, poorly coached game, list to a really bad team. Least enjoyable team to watch I have seen in a awhile.

Hoiberg is great, but sometimes it appears he loses focus as well. Badly outcoached again today.

I've mixed up the order of stages of grief. I entered acceptance mode about midway through the second half, and that's supposed to be the final stage. Anger came at the buzzer, followed by depression, now I'm angry again. Denial was a 3-month long process that is finally over. 'Bargaining' happened several times throughout the game.

Georges was the same player. Actually, he was better. But his role was different. We asked him to pick up a good chunk of an AA pg's role, as a forward. He was forcing it because he not only had to be a finisher/shot maker, but creator and distributor, while also battling better athletes at the 4 this year. Why is it when Cyclones have a game less than their best it is "success got to their head" or they lack heart/effort. Guys, as talented as they are, they are not NBA all-stars going against 1A talent. There will be bad games.

Give the player bashing a rest. You are not even a Cyclone fan. There are enough Cyclone fans doing it you are not needed. We had fundamental weaknesses- BDJ is not to blame for that.

Does anyone feel Baylor and ISU should have switched opponents? Both teams would have matched up better.
