That was one of the ugliest games I've ever seen.... on both sides.

We miss a dunk on a 3 on 1 fast break.... AND... Royce White not only airballs some more FT's, but one of them was 14 and a half feet short of hitting the rim! Seriously, you can't make this stuff up. I thought I was watching a 4th grade girls game at the YMCA or something?

This is one year we will not miss our seniors going into next year.

When you say "we", I'll go ahead and assume you mean "I", because otherwise you're misspeaking for the sane portion of Cyclone Nation.

Good effort against a good team on the road. They're battling with everyone, and if they keep doing that, they'll get the wins when the shots are falling.

Showed a lot of fight after not being able to hit the broad side of a barn for most of the game. Probably should have gotten Scotty a few 3 balls during the slump. Good comeback though.....gotta protect our house and beat KU!

I for one will miss scotty's game winner against okie st, his 30 something against the hawks last year, his one of the best in school history 3 pt pct. but I guess you won't miss those, and instead you will focus on his bad game he had in texas.

For as bad as we played, we actually kept in this game and never gave up. I think Kansas is going down.

]Sorry to say but Kansas is must win.[/B] At some point we need to beat one of the big boys. Unless we plan to sweep OU, Tech, OSU, A&M, and K-State. That seems highly unlikely.

We've had so many "must win" games according to the fan base this year that they might as well stick the ISU logo right next term "must win" in the Book of Cliches.

Kansas is not a must win. Kansas would be a huge win, but ISU's season doesn't end if we lose to them on Saturday, just like it didn't end tonight nor when we lost to Mizzou or Kansas the first time. It's a long season and ISU is still in a very good position.

Yeah Scott Christopherson sucks! :skeptical:

Do people think before they type?:skeptical:
I don't think, I watch the game. They play because we have no one to take their place. Take a good hard look at their overall stats and how they play defense if that's what you call it.

considering we shot horrible, played bad defense until the last 9 minutes, missed a wide open dunk, missed a ton of free throws, we still fought hard down to the wire in a b12 road game and had a chance. Just need to regroup and take it up a level on both ends of the court.

This would have been a nice win to have, but it isn't going to sink us like a loss to Tech might have.

Have to get a 'signature' win though, and Kansas seems like the perfect opportunity for it.

Our 2 seniors are our most inconsistent players, and if they aren't scoring neither Scotty or ALlen give us much. People bashing them are no more ridiculous than the people who pretend the handful of good games they give us are the norm. No matter how you feel about those 2 guys its obvious from all of conference games that we need them to contribute. When atleast one of them plays well we are a pretty tough team, when they don't we look like we did tonight.

Credit Texas for playing good on the ball defense and making our guys look uncomfortable out there tonight.

If we could have shot the ball better (like we do in an average conference game) we kick their *** and hand them their 4th straight.

Cheers to Saturday and a J-hawk defeat.

mofor has a point...while I would rather have SC back for next year...Clyburn is a much better all-around player. SC is only a better shooter but that's it. SC had a ****** game tonight, but he needs to get on track for KU or we will have a long day Saturday.

Lot of missed dunks in 4th grade girls games.

After that performance, we'll be lucky to play in the NIT. No excuse for that kind of showing this late in the season. None, zilch, nada.
