Great win, disappointed we rushed the court. We were favored to win, and we expect to win at home.

I don't know. The win vs. KU felt like a court rushing win. Given that Baylor was ranked 10th and they kicked our butts earlier and my feelings about BU basketball are similar to my feelings about KSU football I think rushing the court is appropriate. I wouldn't have rushed the court but I also wouldn't have worn a tele-tubby costume either.

They just lost Wangmene as well. And Chapman rolled an ankle (with no one around). They have no inside presence now.

Texas doesn't scare me at all because they are a 1-man team and Babb erases the 1

Chris "The Eraser" Babb.

"Coach Hoiberg, how will you stop (Player X) in tonight's tournament contest?"

"I'm not worried. We're putting The Eraser on him."

I'm lobbying to make his name a verb. Lots of good players have been Babbed this season.

Rewatching the game, today.

How huge was that sequence with about 3 min to play, up 64-61, and Royce put up a shot that missed rim?

First, heck of a hustle play by McGee to get the offensive rebound. Then, the refs call timeout to check to see if the shot hit the rim. We inbound with 3 seconds on the shotclock. Melvin gets a good look but misses, and Scotty comes up with the rebound and lay in. The crowd goes nuts, we go up by 5, and Baylor goes down court with Babb hounding Jackson, forcing him to take a bad shot which he misses. Not saying it was the turning point in the game or anything like that, just saying that it was a nice sequence that really displayed some effort by our guys.

It was huge, and if the shot clock had not reset, we would have ran out the shot clock before getting another one up.

Great Babb posters. Need the Brown one blown up poster size for KC!
