*** Official SELECTION SUNDAY Thread ***

Living in eastern Iowa, I know ISU won't be getting any local TV sports coverage with Iowa and UNI both being in Seattle. They won't send anyone to Louisville, even though it's half the distance away.

Over $100 to be a mile from the court. Terrible.

playing Duke their for the last Final Four spot was one of the greatest sports experiences of my life... yeah it's a long way away but that atmosphere was electric... totally loved it...till the last 3 minutes...

hit up the losers of the Sweet 16 games for their mid court tickets right after they lose.

I must have missed it during the Selection Show, who do the #prostyleoffense UNLV Runnin' Rebels play in the Second Round?

I'm just happy we missed Villanova. I know they're the weakest #1 seed, but I think they jack up more 3s than anyone else. With our defense, they'd probably go 15-19 against us from 3.

Some team named Offseason. Sounds like a tough one. They had to defeat Bye to win their conference championship game, but that's nothing a pro style offense can't handle.

I just want to know what time Iowa State plays.

Trying to get my sister's wedding rescheduled around it. :biglaugh:

I'll be in Vegas that weekend. I'm wishing now that I had kept that weekend open

UNI not overseeded at 5. In Seattle.

Definitely not overseeded, but arguably underseeded.

I'm fine with Maryland and North Carolina getting 4 seeds, and I can even understand Louisville, although you could just as easily switch the seeds with UNI. But Georgetown? A team with 10 losses? Lower numbers than UNI in every statistics-based category (RPI, BPI, KenPom, Sagarin)? I'm calling BS.

Otherwise I like the draws for both ISU and UNI.
