*** Official SELECTION SUNDAY Thread ***

Put me in the group that is more worried about the draw than where we play, and I like our draw

I understand your point but I feel our biggest advantage is our fan base so I prefer to be where we can overwhelm the venue. We will represent, but not like we would in OmahaOmaha

Some hawk fans are already talking about a matchup with Gonzaga. I figured a team that hasn't won an NCAA game in 14 years would only be looking at the first game.

in the same region as Wisky and Zona.... Big XII getting much respect from the committee

we can make the SS but then it's Arizona and Wisconsin...tough.

Congrats on your 3 seed... well deserved...could have been a 2.

Congrats on your #3 seed. You were the only team that owned us all year. Would have been awesome to be playing in the same opening round city again.

At least they finally made it to the "real" part of the tournament.

I hate that when they talk about the conferences they fail to mention that yes the Big 12 and Big 10 got 7 teams in, but the Big 12 has 70% of their league in and Big 10 has 50%.

I mean hell, to them they've already made it past the first round! No play-in this year!

Pretty sure Oklahoma got an overall higher seed than us.... If I'm right out got a 10 overall and we got the 11 overall. At this point that's splitting hairs, and probably gives us a better shot at advancing, which is nice...

SMU has talent and an NBA coach. I'd rather be in Baylor's spot.

I'd much rather be in position to face Gonzaga in Houston in the Sweet 16 than to face Arizona in Los Angeles.

It's the tournament. SMU is going to give us a game on Saturday (if we get past UAB first, no jinx here). So would any 6 seed.

now to have as many as possible show up in the EE and FF.

My husband's "dream scenario" is to have Iowa State, Kansas, Baylor, and Oklahoma in the Final Four, just to show who the strongest conference is in the nation. He said this before the brackets came out, and that slim chance does exist.

Eustachy got screwed.

Abso-freakin'-lutely.
