I will never understand why we consistently line up 9 yards off the LOS when its 3rd and 9. Yes, a 4 yard hitch doesn't get the first but if you miss that tackle you're in trouble.
Heacock almost always takes a whole quarter to feel things out. Maybe since first game, he needs a quarter-and-a-half
Honestly if I were SEMO Id have thrown a bubble to the wide side with everyone 14 yards off the LOS and say - make an open field tackle one on one in space
Is it pronounced Fry-ler or Froy-ler? I have always said Froy-ler but the announcers keep saying Fry-ler.
Man, two potential interceptions dropped. D is tightening up but the line isn't dominating at all so far...
I wish we would rush four at least once in a while...
Meanwhile, I'm at the Hawk game. Petras (and by extension Brian) has been booed at least 10 times. They are winning by 2 because of a late safety, and they just played "The Song Of The Game": Man, I Feel Like A Woman.[/u]
Kinda disagree. We're not sacking him but its hard getting a sack rushing 3 consistently. They're back has done nothing - all they're rushing as come from scrambles. Also - its hard for the D line when there are have been open receivers on quick routes
Man, a few small criticisms aside, I will absolutely take how this game has gone so far. Can't remember how long it's been since I felt so comfortable this early in a game. Dekkers may be the answer.
