I want to see Dekkers sling it! These short passes are meh.

I agree, but I also like the presence of mind he’s showing to work through the route tree and find the open receiver w/o forcing a throw into coverage. If he keeps this up, we should see some satisfying deep balls before the game is done

Is it just me or does Dekkers make a 25-40 yard throws look like he doesn't even have to put effort into it? Shows how fluid and strong his arm is.

I love Purdy but it’s obvious Dekkers is a huge upgrade in arm strength. These throws look effortless.

Its not just the arm strength.

The thing that's been super impressive IMO is how quick he has read, recognized and decided. For a guy whose never started a game before today - that's impressive.
