I was trying to think of the best summary for last night. I came up with these:

Thinking of yesterday's games a day after...if ISU's decent they can win vs. the schedule. Just sucks that they don't have real game reps and film to learn from though as the next two weeks approach.
I'm still upset that the game got cancelled, but blaming individual people for it is silly.
JP is one of the best AD’s in college sports. I’m not sure if you’re trying to sound smart or business savvy, but in either case you failed miserably. His only so called contingency is a Dome over JTS.
I think it's a wash. It would have been nice for the players to get some game reps and for the coaches to work out some kinks. But on the other hand Iowa doesn't get any tape for game planning.
Before yesterday I was expecting a one score game going either way. I'm still thinking the same thing today.

Tried to watch last night...
Streaming was ok right up to (and I mean literally) the 3rd & long, when the internet suddenly cut out and we saw NOTHING until we got a brief glimpse of the Clones kicking and extra point... and then it dropped again and we didn’t even get to see that!
Now it seems that even any kind of replay or highlight is unavailable anywhere on the interwebs.
Anybody help with that..??

Both teams have challenging games next week. If they played today, they couldn’t practice Monday. It would be unfair to Iowa State to have them lose a day of prep for Iowa and it would be unfair to have SDSU lose a day of prep for Montana State on top of their 5 hour trip home. So let’s calm down. Everything is going to work out fine.
I guarantee the football team is now focusing on next weeks game, and so should we as fans. Send this thread and the other 20 just like it to the depths. Go State! Beat the Squawks!

I forgot about this, and I wanted to ask. I could swear that I heard CMC say on the pregame show that freshman linebacker Gerry Vaughn would be playing on special teams. Anyone else catch that?
