Right, which means he wasn't down, which results in a late hit? Honestly I could see targeting before late hit. I'm not ********, just don't understand a late hit when the player wasn't down

Horrible, horrible call on Peavy. Runner wasn't down & had not given himself up. Ball carrier so not defenseless. Cannot target on that play, so that's why the late hit call was BS. He wasn't down & the whistle was not blown.
