That was not a good Texas team. Guess we know where this team stands. There's always next year.
That was not a good offensive Texas team.

The defense is gonna be pretty good, Maryland was an outlier.

I think ISU's offense is much better than what it showed tonight
I don't think ISU's defense is as good as it showed tonight.

They lost.

SC scored 17 points in regulation, SC all world QB threw 2 picks against them.
Their 5 star talent pulled their tales out of the fire. ISU has a much finer line given our talent infusion is still a work in progress

Losing should never be the acceptable option.

Defense played their ***** off. Every member of the offense should be embarrassed outside of Montgomery. How does that guy only get 12 touches? Whether its run or receiving he should get at least 25-30 touches.

Made the Texas D look like the 85 Bears.

What a pathetic performance by Park. Play calling was high school and predictable. This team is not going anywhere near a bowl. Same garbage- talking heads saying Oline is progressing - looks like they are regressing to me. Defense. Only thing that showed up. Tired of this pathetic OC - go get a real OC.

Curious if anybody has the clear evidence of the knee down with the ball on the kickoff fumble that must exist. Not saying it doesn't exist or couldn't have been the right call, but I haven't seen proof either way if he had the ball or not and the play was reversed so there should be a very clear shot of it somewhere.

Y'all've been listening to too much Jeff Woody and Stanz sunshine pumping. USC is legit and so it Texas' defense. All week people on this site made light of their performance against USC. It was not a fluke, Texas still has legit five star talent across the board on D, and it showed tonight.

I don't understand why PSU is ranked ahead of USC. USC hasn't lost in forever.

That was a painfully boring game. I was somewhat dreading bringing my kids, but watching them roll down the grass hill in the 3rd quarter was maybe the most exciting thing we saw today.

I am rarely one to rip on coaches, play calls, or game plans, because I don’t know enough to be coherent. However, I couldn’t even begin to try and explain what they were trying to do.

The initial view from the main camera pretty clearly showed him down with the ball. You could make an argument that the ball was starting to come loose but I think it was the right call. Too bad though

Texas exposed something that can be a simple blueprint for other BIg 12 defenses, if they weren't able to figure it out already. Stack the box, stuff the run, bring pressure on park.

Higher-octane teams are going to be willing to give up occasional long-plays, because they probably can outscore us in a shootout if necessary.

What a complete and total letdown in all aspects tonight. We took a step backwards unfortunately.

First, we come out with those God awful helmet stickers (better not ever see those again). Just total butt ugly and an embarrassment.

And then the team comes out pretty uninspired, with horrible playcalling, and put up a whopping 7 pts. Yippee! I'm starting to really wonder if we're heading in the right direction or not at this point? We don't look any different than all the Rhoads era teams IMO. Still dumb playcalling, still undisciplined players doing stupid things on the field costing us in a HUGE way. And yet another year of not going bowling now.

Somethings never change as a Cyclone. New coaches, same stuff.
