Looks great. I know I'm in the minority but I've really enjoyed the Thor movies. Just the right amount of self deprecating humor.

I REALLY hated the Thor movies..... Natalie Portman is just not a good fit, and I HATE that chick from '2 Hot girls Try Waitressing' or whatever their stupid tv show is called. I do like the self deprecating humor though! Especially how the Dr. Erik guy is totally Loco after having Loki in his Brain. That cracked me up.

Hulk vs Thor though...could be pretty entertaining.

I enjoy pretty much all of the Marvel movies, because none of them are to be taken too seriously. They aren't great movies, but they aren't bad movies either. They are just in that perfect summer movie wheelhouse. I, for one, am pumped!

I think they're great. I read Marvel comics religiously as a kid and get a kick out of some of the dialogue from comics ending up in the movies. By the way Thor will kick the Hulks big green ass.

Pretty fun movie. Lots of action and enough comedy. I liked the pace - it never had the lull so many of the comic book movies seem to have. Semi spoilery -
I thought Hulk was underutilized. I'd have liked to see him play a bigger part in the fighting of the enemies. Also, the outcome really changes the landscape with Asgard and his hammer destroyed and now Thor finally accepting the role of king.

I saw it yesterday with the fam. I thought it was a lot of fun. I laughed out loud during quite a few scenes. The plot was pretty straightforward, but I appreciated its simplicity for the angle they took.

It sorta reminded me on an 80s action movie with better (less cheesy) comedy and way better special effects.

This was the first movie I've ever watched in 4D (the seats moved with the action, sprayed water and air and also emitted accompanying scents). It was an interesting experience. I'm not sure I need to fork out the extra money to do that again, but it was a fun movie to have the extra effects going along with it.

I am going to see this movie solely because of Taika Waititi. That man is one of the better comedic directors in my mind, and was pumped to hear he was in charge a while back. I plan on seeing it later on this week and am happy to hear the good reviews on here as well as from the critics!

Side Note - Taika was a part of the New Zealand comedy troupe "So You're a Man", which included Jermaine Clemente (who I can guarantee everyone knows something he's done whether they know it or not) and Bret McKenzie (Flight of the ConChords) and if you enjoy the comedy in this movie or know/like other New Zealand comedies, I highly suggest watching the move What We Do in the Shadows, it was also directed by Taika Waititi and it is a mockumentary about 3 vampires living together from different generations and how they survive together in the same flat.

I am almost at my saturation point with superhero movies but my better half loves them so we go to them all opening night. I thought this was ok, better than the other two Thor movies for sure. But it's pretty forgettable and really campy.
