He also had a nice steal toward the end.

Not sure if it is the sheer size of the guys he is surrounded by but he appears to be crazy skinny compared to his college days

The NBA is super skinny. It’s a game of running rather than strength.

Nader with a huge 3 in OT after Russ fouls out.
I couldn't stay up for the end of the game - late in my time zone - so I'll check it out on DVR. Niang got a DNP and Deonte Burton did 8 minutes and went 0-4 from the field (but it's great how he's playing so regularly now). I thought Nader was a little shaky in his 4 MIN in the first half (small sample size), so I'm glad that he contributed in OT. I found his big shot:

Monte's first game back after the break wasn't a hot shooting performance but the Nuggets got a comfortable win in Dallas. His line ended up as 7 PTS, 19 MIN, 3-10 FG, 0-4 3PT, 5 REB, 3 AST and, stop me if you've heard this before: 0 TO.

His NBA-leading assist-to-turnover ration is now up to 6.46 to 1. Tyus Jones of the T'woves resumed playing after the break and he is at 6.33.

I did find a clip of Monte finishing in traffic from the Mavs game:

The Nuggets on TV today: I just noticed that the Nuggets are on NBA TV today, vs. the Clippers at 5 PM ET / 4 PM CT. The Warriors took a surprising L last night vs. the Harden-less Rockets, so the Nuggets can climb to only 1 game behind Golden State with a win.

Tuesday night at 10:30 PM ET / 9:30 PM CT, there's a chance to see Monte's Denver team vs. Abdel and Deonte's OKC Thunder on TNT.

Last night there wasn't anything spectacular to report from our guys in the NBA. Nader played 10 MIN - 7 in the first half - and only scored two points (transition dunk in tweet above). He accumulated no other stats other than 1-3 FG and 3 PF. Deonte got into the game again but only 3 MIN in the 1st half and only had a turnover. The Thunder fell way behind the Kings in the first half and made a big push in the 2nd half - mostly sans Cyclones - to come back and ended up losing 119-116.

Niang got another DNP. I was thinking he might get some PT since the Jazz had back-to-backs but Q. Snyder didn't really care about my opinion, it turns out.

I watched a lot of SacTown-OKC, pretty entertaining and I'm not prone to saying that much.

Freebies from league pass for a couple days.

Sacramento is my favorite team to watch from a basketball standpoint. Fox, Hield, and Bogie B are all a blast to watch. I also like them, because kind of like the Nuggets, their front office has taken a lot of criticism, but they’ve built a good team with upside. They were in position to take Doncic but he really wasn’t a good fit with the good young players they already had.

It's funny, I was looking at their roster and thinking that it must be a great team to watch but I haven't had much of a chance where I live. Great young core and I support H. Barnes as an Ames High guy.
