That Missouri transfer is a pretty interesting one seeing as how we lose Nader, Niang, McKay next year.

I don't see how that isn't appealing to a transfer post player. As close as it comes to guaranteed playing time.

You still have Cooke, Thomas, Burton, Williams and possibly Morris to play with, not to mention there will likely be a second transfer (probably Payne).

Not to mention we are in on some big fish for that 2016 class.

Agreed, I am assuming the staff will be in contact once he officially anounces his transfer. Seems like a good fit for ISU to add good combo of low post talent (top 50 recruit out of HS), RS this year with two years to play, and leading scorer and rebounder on a BCS school (all be it a poor one) as a Sophomore.

Good candidate for a sit 1, play two transfer.

@TheRecruitScoop: RT @RobDauster: Johnathan Williams III expected to transfer from Missouri.

Exactly what we need, but will Fred risk offering a big who is immediately eligible if it hurts landing Diallo? One theory is that Diallo is waiting to see which bigs for KU and UK leave before committing. Then again, if Diallo knows he's declaring after one year, then it shouldn't be an issue as he'll be long gone by the time J. Williams III becomes eligible.

Big men who could help us right now, have played a lot of minutes, proven. I would like to see some big men who could help us against KU and Texas and OU. I would take one or both, couldn't hurt.

Mike Thorne Jr.
, 6-11, C, RS Jr., Charlotte (will graduate) Play now, 10 points a game, 7 rebounds, 26 minutes season ave.

Rafael Maia, 6-9, C, Jr., Brown (will graduate) Play now, 9 points a game, 8 rebounds, 30 minutes a game. Smart kid Ivy League school.

For the future,
Patson Siame, 6-11, F, Soph., Loyola Marymount , 4 pts, 6 rebounds, 20 minutes.

Tariq Owens, 6-10, PF, Fr., Tennessee only 8 minutes a game, 2 pts, 2 rebounds, would be a work in progress.

Also Kourtlin Jackson, 6-4, G, Jr., Iowa State leaving -- considering Southern Miss.

Cliff isn't transfering he will likely be forced to declare for the draft. And the Ukrainian kid already said he will be back. The only transfer I could see happening is Mickelson as a grad transfer

Tarin Smith freshman from Nebraksa just announced he's transferring. He is a point guard not sure if ISU would be interested or not.

Dylan Ennis is leaving Villanova. I believe he started every game. Played 28 minutes and averaged about 10 ppg.

They have a pretty good guard coming in but the move kind of shocked me. Leaving a 1 seed.

Surprising as he played over 28 minutes/game but I do like him having 2 years left to play. Does he play point? I'd prefer someone who can learn the system and players' tendencies for a year before starting, assuming MM leaves.

I think he plays point, BUT he's eligible immediately next season for only one year. Played 2 years of D1 ball and considered a junior.

Brunson is coming in and he's a stud. Maybe he sees his minutes vanishing. Morris leaves him in the same situation here. I'd be very surprised if we have much interest.
