No excuse for giving up an 80 yard pass after the Lenz td. Who was guarding that guy?
QUOTE]

They caught us playing man to man. we had been playing mostly cover 2 and went to man. UNI had one receiver to that side that went out 5 yards and then came back to the line of scrimmage, LJ stayed on that guy tight like he was supposed to. The UNI running back ran a wheel route out of the backfield that left Knott guarding him man to man. Give UNI credit its exactly the match up they wanted. Had we been in cover 2 the safety would have been back deep to pick up the running back wheel route.

Just a great play call by UNI to get the matchup they wanted.

Playcalling was questionable at times. The read option doesn't work when the o-line can't block. Running game was lousy if you don't count Jantz's scrambles.

Jantz needs to learn to make smarter decisions in the pocket instead of rolling out everytime he gets pressured.

Also what happened to KO?

Unfortunately, the smart decision tonight was to get the hell out of the pocket.

Did you watch the same game I did? Jantz rolling out as much as he did is the only reason why his head is still attached to his body. And oh yeah - he might have only made one of the plays of the year in that TD pass by doing the very thing you're criticizing him for.

This. Our O-Line needs to get their **** together or Jantz is going to get injured before the season is up.
