If ISU's offense didn't play like crap it would have been about 51-7.

I wouldn't say 'like crap' since it's the first game of the season, but I will agree that the defense has seemed to have taken a gigantic leap, the offense a much smaller one. Want to see some more improvement there, but I have hope that the game experience, especially winning, can help the unit gel.

1-0 I'll take it, didn't expect this big of a margin victory. Feels much better than the last 2 seasons

Agreed...great start by the team....I'm sure the offense will move ahead and be the difference maker they have the potential to be..

Not sure about Mangino system or our O-line yet.

Talent level on DEF is completely different level than last year, and the depth.

Nice win, afraid UNI was really bad but maybe that was some of us.

Suppose I will still go to the game next week, what the heck.

This press conference music on loop is ridiculous.

Gotta admit, while watching these press folks sitting there all bored waiting for Rhoads to come in and talk...I could never do that job. I'd be like "screw this, I'm going uptown and having a celebration beer."

Another successful Rulzzz gameday thread. So happy for this team and us fans. I'm 5 hours away from being up 24 straight hours. I worked 6 and half hours Sat. then spent 10 hours in this wonderful weather. I got over 22,000 steps on my fitbit but I'm sore in every possible place, but it's all worth it.

I didn't really get why it was UNI's ball when QB dove for the pylon.

Because he didn't step out of bounds so it was a fumble off the pylon, which is like a fumble out of the back of the endzone, which is a touchback for the other team. I don't love the rule, but it seems like it was called right.
