Great clutch shooting by VT down the stretch. They simply executed better.

They. Have. Shooters! We do NOT…. period.

Same story as last night. Our only hope down the stretch last night and tonight was to have Tamin or Gilbert literally plow into the lane and crash into people, flail their arms in the air and hope they call a foul.

Only difference…. last night we made some of those FTs and VCU choked on the other end. Tonight we missed ‘em…. and VT didn’t.

Everyone that was prematurely excited about last night’s lucky win, came back to reality a bit tonight…. even though we didn’t play any better last night and there were GLARING weaknesses on our squad if you were being anywhere near realistic.

The list of issues with this team is quite long tbh. You can admit it or deny it.

We learned our 3 point defense and FT shooting both need major improvements from this trip. Good news is they have shown us they can fight back out of a big deficit.

Those come from multiple defensive stops. 2 and 3 pointers.

Is Biliew ever going to make an impact for us? A consensus five star recruit and this guy has done absolutely nothing and looks not ready to play at the collegiate level. Sure, it’s early. But he looks unprepared.

People mocked me when I said we should lower our expectation. I have seen plenty of 5 star recruits that didn’t do well in their freshman year. Based on what I had seen him playing in high school, it will take him some time to adapt to college game. He doesn’t have polished offensive skills like Momcilovic.

People should absolutely voice frustration but if you post one of our players has "no talent" are you really being truthful?

That’s right folks - do NOT be frustrated! You are a BAD fan and an UNREASONABLE fan if you show frustration with how the team is playing right now. No criticism is warranted or welcome!

I also love the revisionist “lowering of pre-season expectations” crowd too, love the effort to double down to REALLY stick it to the naysayers! Those evil, dumb frustrated fans who have a passion for ISU basketball! Screw them! Like all of a sudden, we were actually not even supposed to be more than a fringe tourney team this year and Tre King was never expected/hoped to be a 12/6 type of guy (that one cracked me the f*** up last night!).

For real like my bad for being a passionate fan. Losing pre conference games to inferior teams is predictive of a bad team not a good one.

News Flash: We are all frustrated and not fans of what happened today.

But like... there's more games to play. And they are probably gonna practice and stuff like that.
