You said “teams that lose pre conference games to worse teams are more likely not to be very good”

All the team I mentioned lost a pre conference game to worse teams. And there are dozens and dozens more. Remember, just a lot every year we can play a game where we can show how a division II school theoretically was the best team because team A beat team b, team b beat team c, etc. My point being you can’t prove anything after a single game in November.
Right but you have indications/signs. And it’s a bad sign for future performance.

Even better! "My stats says what I want with a small sample size.. .especially if I take away one of the games from that small sample size that doesn't say what I want!!"

Someone doesn't understand statistics....
Small sample size? We’ve played 1/5 of our regular season already. If through four games of an NFL season the starting QB was completing 23% of his passes you’d probably conclude he isn’t very good at his job.

In a 6 game stretch of conference play if he shoots 23% from 3 with this number of shots and minutes we are ****** and probably not making the tourney. 6 games is not an insignificant sample size

'We are '******''?

What are your goals for this team?

To me, today's game feels like that game we had in Brooklyn against South Carolina.
I'm not going to melt down over it. I just thought our fanbase could be better than calling our own players garbage.
TJ obviously has some things to work on.

Please ban the culrpits

Well now we know you're not being rational. Those two positions/situations aren't similar.

Yep and we've played 2-3 bad halves and people are freaking out over that. You'd also give that qb more leash of he had a history of MUCH better pass percentage the rest of his career. Look at cujos history

A lot can change from now until March. I highly doubt a single game in November indicates a high/low probability of future success.

I would be FAR more concerned if the team lost to one of the cupcakes. Then you may be correct. A loss on a neutral court to a talented power 6 school in November? No need to hit the panic button

No quarterback has ever or will ever have enough leash to complete less than a quarter of his passes

The inconsistency of block charge is terrible this year. Which is funny.. because the rule change was supposed to make it more consistent. Seems the consistency is just "everything is a block!"

I love the idea. Strategically falling down shouldn’t be some huge part of defense, and it has gotten to be. People love when we have a player like Jaz who is great at it, but the game is better without that.

I am officially concerned about him. He needs to be a contributor and right now he's not playing well at all. I do think he feels tons of pressure being the home town kid and always wanting to be a Cyclone but, it's time for him to get his head right (if that's the problem)

He was starting to come around in game 4 but this new batch of games may have reset his process a bit.

Hopefully Omaha figures things out. Be nice to have that 10 point per game from a 4 or 5.
He has the tools to do it.
