These tiny colleges take a paycheck to come get blown out by a big boy all the time. That isn't changing. The game doesn't count, after all. They just get $$$.

When we get McKay and Nader plus this improved Edozie…nobody will be able to push us around down low. Especially on offense when Niang will be demanding attention and stretching them out.

If the refs keep up with what they said during Big 12 media day, they will be paying a lot more attention to the offensive post players. So hopefully there will be less mauling and more legit basketball.

I'm hopped up on Kool-Aid but at the same time I know that Viterbo is the basketball equivalent of a 7-5 B1G football team so not much to get excited about just yet. Wait for a better opponent.

I hope SDW and Edozie continue to play well. I think they would be different players with confidence.

I'm just begging for a chance to pull out my Marathon Oil replica jersey one more time. It's a tough day when my two favorite teams of all time are facing off. My first dream was to play for Iowa State, but my ultimate dream was to don the colors of the Marathon Oil.
