Not sure about NY, but I keep my in pulse on a lot of Chicago sports talk, and the media has not changed other then they have to talk about a lot of bad teams.
Just feel that the media landscape has changed with the dawn of internet and social media and there’s not the same heat that used to be the case in the 80’s and 90’s

Depends on what they are willing to pay him. He could do the Fred Hoiberg route of taking a job he had no shot of doing good, get the huge payout to get fired, then come back to college and coach at LSU or some crap.
Seems outta character for some coaches, but it is an option CHA-CHING!

Insane pro fan bases ranked

1.) Philly
2.) Boston
3.) New York
Then a big drop to number 4, Chicago

Don’t mean to be critical to MC at all but I don’t think he’d be a very good NFL coach. He would yield a LOT of control if his program to other people. From minor things like reporting on injuries to big things like personnel decisions. He’d struggle with that.

And he doesn’t have the thickest skin in the world. Him losing his mind on that ISU fan at the Ohio game. He’d have 70,000 of those interactions during both home and away games as the Jets coach. And Woody Johnson ain’t Jaimie Pollard.

That is why the more I think about it the more it makes sense for Sexy Rexy Ryan to go back.

If you think about the most rabid, negative, few posters on CF, which represent a tiny portion of the overall ISU fanbase, then apply that to the average NY sports fan and media member, it's hard to fathom.

I think those of us on CF feel like our fanbase is a bit more manic than it really is. Between the relationship with media and a vast majority of fans, ISU sports is a complete fantasy world of positivity, long leashes and benefit of the doubt.
I gave you a funny rating though I know your right, just the way you wrote it made me LOL.

When will Chicago learn their lesson with taking our former coaches?
Ask the same question of any Chicago sports team about any lesson.

I've shifted my fandom to look forward to the new and (hopefully) interesting ways they'll find to disappoint me.

The Iowa State to the Chitty road is well traveled.

Matt, this place sucks. The city sucks. The state sucks. The media sucks. The Bears suck.

Don't do it
It's only been a coaching graveyard for our BB coaches(so far;))

Well Campbell will be one of about 20 to get interviewed supposedly. Their interview list is absurdly long.
