ISU will lose. I have zero confidence in our offense.

In two conference games against Texas and Kansas, they are giving up 419 ypg. You don't need to have confidence in our offense, you just have to realize how terrible OSU's defense is.

My biggest concern at this point is actually the point spread. We are 14 point underdogs in this game. Looking through the body of work for both of these teams this season, I don't see the justification for that. What am I missing?

We are 2-2 against BCS conference teams with losses by 11 and 6 to teams that are currently ranked #4 and #18. OSU is 1-2 against BCS opponents with losses by 21 and 5 to teams that are not currently ranked. Their one win was by 6 points over Kansas.

I think ISU wins outright, but this looks like a stone cold lock for ISU to cover.

I have a bad bad feeling about this one. I was feeling good, but I think OSU is going to beat us up, 42-21.

I have a "Missouri last year" type of feeling where everyone thought it was a winnable game, I do think our defense is too good to get blown out I say OSU 31-20.

ISU 26, OSU 17. The D puts the clamps on whoever starts at QB for OSU and they get just enough help from a revived running game and an efficient game from Barnett. Nealy puts the game away with a 25 yard TD scamper late in the 4th quarter and Arceo misses the PAT just to **** with our heads.

It came out around, what, 11.5(?) which seemed a little higher than I expected, now it's at 14. It could be, 14 points for a high-scoring team like OSU is maybe more like a 7 or 8 point spread for less offense-heavy teams — and there's an expectation this game will be high scoring (while a 17-14 game could play more in favor of ISU). That could be one guess.

The Cowboy's offense is way overrated imo. The stats are inflated from beating the crap out of the likes of Savannah State and Louisiana-Lafayette. We can definitely stop them. If we force them to become one-dimensional like last year, I don't really see how they can beat us unless the offense stinks again. Iowa State 24 Oklahoma State 20
