This week, we continue our “Decades” series, with focus on favorite songs from the 1970s.

I expected to have a lot of possibilities for the 1970s, but attempting to narrow the list was more challenging than I assumed.

No specific ranking order for my choices, but this next one is the first song on my '70s compilation ....

For some reason, even though I grew up in the 80's, the 70's music is my favorite (also, the 60's). Just seems to have more substance.

Somehow I got to this decade before Guardians of the Galaxy turned me on to this.

So much good music and such a variety of good music in this decade. Layla, I Will Survive and Bohemian Rhapsody have already been posted and those are three of my favorites. I could probably post about 100 songs from this decade. I guess I'll post a couple just to get started.
