I always thought this would have fit on Sgt. Pepper's or Magical Mystery Tour. Taking a mundane concept, adding psychoactive substances, ending in imposing narrative...

Clear Revolver influence/sound:

And for a bonus, an earlier rendition of I'm Looking Through You.
Earle says in his liner notes: "This is the stuff I cut my teeth on--Middle-Class White Boy Roots Music". Then, I heard him on the radio last year telling how his bass player talked him into doing this song--Earle was initially reluctant, he said, after he figured out how many changes he would have to play.

The Bangles are actually one of my favorite Beatle-esque bands out there with their early sound.

My fav:

This one is a cover but even has Liverpool in the title. SECOND WEEK IN A ROW I POSTED LEONARD NEMOY ON TOPIC...what are the odds!

Just heard an incredible version of manic Monday by my favourite English folk singer you might enjoy it?

That's beautiful.

Outside of The Beatles and Bowie, Prince might be my third biggest musical fandom and I wish he had recorded a full studio version of this song. The demos out there hint at what it would sound like. It definitely fits with his 1999 album.

I'm a huge Josh fan and have seen him several times. It is a crime that he isn't bigger than he is.

1972 and Nashville are beyond amazing records and I'm not even sure if they're my favorites.
