I really don’t like lineman in the backfield on the punts. Get some LB’s or TE’s back there. That’s about my only complaint with this team though.
During the iowa game last night they were talking about Van Ness and his two blocks and said when they were talking to him about it, he said that he and the coaches noticed something we do/don’t do on punts that they could exploit and they did. So sounds like it’s something fairly obvious to coaching staffs and that it’s not necessarily an effort thing, which makes it even more frustrating.

They’ve been begging people to buy tickets all season. What the hell is going on? Like, I get the first two home opponent were weak, but that’s still kind of embarrassing.
What do I get for it?
I have to walk to far.
I never get a call or a thank you.
What's my return on investment?

Sorry to be so cynical, but this stuff truly exists.

It looked almost full to me yesterday for a bad opponent on a rainy day. I think we’re ok.

Yeah like the punter needing 4 steps to get a punt off…

Prior to the sales I think the starting price was like $50 per ticket for the first two games. That’s steep for SEMO and a bad Ohio team.

A major step up in competition from the first three weeks. We won’t get away with these mistakes that we could against the Ohio and Iowa types.

On offense, I think we have to put in Dekkers hands.

If Norton is healthy, that should help the run game.

This is the dumbest thing I’ve read.

You get to see your favorite team play. Campbell talks about how appreciative he is of the fans. Your return on investment is seeing your favorite team win.

Big that we have Baylor at Home this year, need to take advantage! I also like how we have 5 of the remaining 9 conference games at Home! I guess last year this was reversed?

And Aranda might not be there much longer! [I'm kinda joking a la Campbell. He'll probably be Baylor football's version of Scott Drew.]

This was a low key thing that didn't get much pub after not meeting last years lofty expectations. Not only did we only have 4 home big 12 games, Okie St was the only top half finisher we hosted. We basically got 3 of the 4 easiest games at home and had road games against the tougher competition. Switched around is likely a 1 or 2 game difference in the w/l column.

Any news on B. Freyler? Noticed he didn’t play much down the stretch vs Iowa and was on sideline in sweats yesterday.

Hope to get him back before Baylor.

One of the post game commentators (Bruns?) mentioned after one of the previous games that they had LB’s in there, but a DL type was running over them, so they put Tyler Maro in later in that game.

I haven’t followed closely enough to know how that has evolved.
