ISU is absolutely capable of running this exact gameplan against OU. Yes, OU will have two weeks to lick its wounds and scheme. But ISU has better personnel on both sides than KSU so, with good execution, it may not matter.

Seriously, if this score holds there is an outside shot at the Sugar Bowl. Obviously needs a lot of things outside our control to happen, but it's also not completely unreasonable.

I mean, even if OU pulls this off and remain undefeated, they're gonna get roasted in playoffs by some SEC team

My only issue is that OU is gonna have an ax to grind and then they'll gonna crush us 40-7

Recruit kids that battle like Mike Rose does.

There's not kuch of an argument against the 'defense optional' narrative with how bad UT and OU have looked.

KSU keeping it on the ground and going conservative, and still moving the ball.

Tempting to go for that 4th but you can't give OU a short field right?

I would have liked to see the analytics behind it. The way things have gone it would be extremely tempting to go for it and bleed another five or six minutes off the clock. But with it being a three score game no matter what the clock is definitely on their side. I understand punting there even if OU goes right down the field on this drive.

Yeah, even though OU took it right down the field K State is still sitting in pretty good position. They don't even have to score to put it away; just pick up a couple first downs and burn some clock. The Sooners have to get the ball back twice and score both times in five minutes. Seems unlikely since their defense hasn't played well and K State has been running it down their throat.

If you're KSU I think you have to go for it and step on OU's throats. Can't get a foot?
