Long 2 week break, but a busy couple of weeks upcoming for the team (OU 1/27, OSU 1/29, WVU 2/3, Pitt 2/4).

OU isn’t great this year. Unranked in Intermat/FLO/WIN dual rankings with zero top 10 guys at the moment. It will be interesting to see if Buchanan wrestles this year (Moore recently dropped down to 184, so I assume it’s in the works). He is an immediate title contender if he does. This one likely isn’t close.

Oklahoma St isn’t their usual top 5, but still a top 10-15 dual team. A pair of top 10 guys (Fix 2 at 133, Plott 6 or 7 at 174). I expect this dual to be pretty close, but we should close it out at 184, 197 and 285. If Casey doesn’t go, it gets real dicey.

I am expecting to see Fuessley at 125 (though I am curious if/when Perryman will use his 2 free matches) and am assuming Casey & Julien will be back for these at 141 & 174.

Any insiders have any insight to injuries at 125, 141, 174 and/or any plans?

Carter Young is shockingly under .500 this year for OSU, even if Casey doesn't go Redding and him will be a toss up.

Would Redding 100% bump to 141 if Casey can’t go? Would make sense but I think he’s got an outside shot at R12 if he stays 133, but Ramazan probably does too.

I'm not sure of that, but if Casey doesn't go I would expect Redding to go 141 like he has a couple times before for duals. He can weigh in a slight bit over 133 and still get down there for the following week.

If Redding earns the 133 spot he’s not going to bump up for a dual. He needs to focus on managing his weight and getting into a grove for the end of the season which is more important than winning the dual. I fully expect Casey and Broderson will wrestle next weekend.

If Redding had earned the 133 spot I missed that part, then I would agree he won't bump up. If it's still a back and forth thing, I would expect Redding at 141 if Casey doesn't go.

I'd thoroughly enjoy seeing Buchanan/Bastida in Hilton.
If Buchanan does slot in the OU lineup, it certainly makes that dual look a whole lot more interesting. It still should be a comfortable W for the good guys, but interesting nonetheless.
Looking at who OU threw out there on Sat. plus a possible Buchanan, it would be:
125: Joey Prata (solid)
133: Wyatt Henson (super talented but hasn't fared well so far)
141: Mosha Schwartz (having a decent season, beat Carter Young)
149: Mitch Moore (another very solid guy)
157: Jared Hill (not great)
165: Alejandro Herrera (I think he's bumping up from 157, Carr will slaughter)
174: Tate Picklo (see Wyatt Henson)
184: Keegan Moore (always dangerous, but Coleman should handle him well)
197: Buchanan (if it's not Buchanan, Bastida will rain down destruction)
285: Josh Heindselman (should be a fun one to watch. Sammy looks better than Josh tho.)

Would be more interesting for sure, but would still likely be a comfortable W like you mentioned.

What happen to the Mantanona boys? I don't see them competing this year

I did see Anthony was a redshirt senior, but Troy was a junior. Neither on the roster this year

Okie st due is at 2pm. NFC champ game is at 2pm. This is potentially a big time issue…..
