That might have had something to do with who we were playing (on most occasions - not all). Kyler Murray is just a freak of nature.
This. in a 3-3-5 it's gonna be tough when the guy under center has elite arm talent and scrambling skills. Once Murray got out of the pocket we were in trouble.

It was going to take a Herculean effort from the defense to keep them down, and for the most part the defense did about as well as we could have asked. Sometimes regardless of what you do defensively the offense is just too good to stop.

Who went in for Knipfel when he was out after getting dinged up? Trevor Downing is listed as the 2 on the depth chart....I assume it was not him as it is a little early to use up one of his 4 games.

Yep. ISU's at their best (like most teams) when they get some rhythm in getting lined up, getting off the ball and using all available playmakers.

Lining up in weird formations, and then taking 10 seconds to get everyone shifted to the WC with the QB basically being a decoy, is, um, not that.

I like when they tend to speed tempo up. They know where the playmakers are, we have options, lets quicken it up. I realize yeah, part of it is for clock management, but if it's working why change it up.
