maybe he meant academically. academically tulane is great

In a way, it would be funny if he meant it in a way as a comliment. That Iowa State is a Benchmark for a good university in the Big XII and that Tulane isn't a terrible shot because they are better than ISU academically.

I doubt it, but you never know.

Academically, its good. AAU, law school, med school and more selective admissions policy; better average ACT and SAT scores for entering frosh.

Why pick ISU then? ISU is one of the few AAU schools in the Big 12. Why not pick a school like Oklahoma or Okie st that absolutely sucks academically?
It boils down to the simple fact that Bob is a toolbox.

He's trying to say that Tulane would be highly ranked within the conference academically. Saying they're better than Okie State is like saying water is wet.

He's an outspoken radio host who is a major KU homer on the 2nd-rate sports station in Kansas City. Nothing to see here folks. 810 WHB rules Kansas City... 610 (where Fescoe works) sucks.

Wrong....610 has beat out 810 in the latest ratings....810 is terrible IMO
