Can someone please come up with a transition beyond “with that being said…”?!? Let’s give these guys some options.

Yeah, you know, the way we approach it is, can we be the best version of ourselves, not just on the field but off it - in how we interact with the community and with each other. Employing the use of cliches and empty fillers is not how we exemplify excellence in communication. Conveying meaningful information is critical - whether you're building a successful program or mentoring a student athlete. And as for these guys...communication the single most critical tool these young men have to develop as they mature into leaders beyond anything that happens in this football program. We're cultivating leaders for life. With that being said, we know we can do better. We haven't lived up to expectations. At end of the day, you know...it's a process. We'll just need to step back and look at the full picture as we assess what areas need improvement and where we can adjust our verbiage and rhetoric to reach that ultimate version of who we can be.

It would be great if we got a 100% honest/transparent announcement.

"Well, my step dad was right, I wasn't good enough to crack the two deeps....and coach confirmed that today when he said he would rather have the roster spot back. I also guess it was all downhill when I suggested we go under center on short yardage....still remember when I suggested that on scout team and got chewed out....who is laughing now, Manning?!?!?!?

A couple guys were cool in the team, but honestly didn't care for a lot of them. Sure, when I helped them with calc homework they liked me, but crickets when I asked to hang on the weekends.

I'd prefer to hang up the cleats and get an engineering degree from ISU, but in an ongoing effort to gain my dad's approval, ill probably end up at some directional Missouri school.

Thanks #CycloneNation."

Portal question. When a player "commits" in the portal. Is there an immediate scholarship offer signed? Or, is there a point at which they can switch schools?

They say I plan to leave my school and I am open to talk to anyone that would like my services.

Seems like a good spot to see a bigger picture for the Big 12.

Woof. Oklahoma is getting hit hard. I have not been paying a ton of attention, but that seems like a lot of talent walking out the door
