Vs. Network did a very nice job with the broadcast on Saturday and they had the camera in ISU locker room for part of Chizik's pregame speech.
After watching the DVR'd game several times-Here it is: Not yelling or screaming, just in quiet confidence.
"I want you to play...your butt off. I don't want you to ever look at that scoreboard. I want a small victory by every guy on every play. The small ones turn into big ones. Refuse to lose. Refuse to lose guys. But above everything else, above everything else...I want you to have fun. I want to see smiles. I want you to play your freaking butt off. I want you to see you enjoy doing it. I want to see you enjoy doing it. Take it personal, play your butt off, and play it physical. That's what I need today. Play it physical"
Thought some of you would enjoy this.

I also thought that was an awesome twist to the broadcast. I had is DVR'd and will probably watch it a couple more times.

Thats is seriously why I need to find this online somewhere to watch it. My Hawkeye brother won't let me have the tape since we won. He still won't talk to me.... I really want to see it...

Also, I wasn't much of a fan of the intro music, but after watching it during the Iowa game. Seeing them walk through the buidling with those jerseys and the confidence they had, I am now a fan of it.

I still think we need some kind of siren to idicate the start of the music. Kinda like the sirens on the jock jam song we had. People knew it was time to rumble.

When that intro started, and Iowa fan lady behind me yelled out "They stole our intro!"
I turned around to her and said-No, we stole it from the dozens of other schools that have been doing it for years--same as you guys.
"Oh" was the response.
Her husband was embarassed.

How many homes does Versus go into? We sure don't have it down here. Having this network cover it might be why we didn't see more of it on ESPN.

On the contrary, the fact that Versus broadcasted it is probably the reason why there are ANY highlight videos of the game on ESPN at all
