PD3 Drama

I kind of feel bad for him. Seems like he needs some help and guidance from some responsible adults

Some adults are trying but the adult isn't listening. Remember, he's no kid--he turns 25 later this year. His attitude is ignorant and pathetic. The decision to put him on the team was one of the final nails in the KJ coffin, imho.

I think he's being sarcastic based on the tweets he's liked in response. But who knows based on his actual tweets in the last few days

The old, my account got hacked, even though he tweeted about how he was going on certain podcasts then went on those podcasts.

I liked how someone replied "Only 1 Flaw in that..you admitted finding out via twitter on the podcast about being let go so you were using your account" and he replied "oh my mr scientist". Everyone is telling him to just own up to what he did and said which they are all right on.

I cannot quite fathom the criticism of Downey. He is a young man with a lot to learn about life. However, to your credit, many of you have wished him the best, and hope that he learns these lessons sooner rather than later. He may bring the criticism onto himself with his tweets, his blaming of others and his disruption in the room, but the best we thing can do for this ex-Cyclone is the wish him well and then be silent.

Exactly. Time to move on unless there is a change in his status and discuss the kids that will be competing as Cyclones or coming soon.

Some folks take it personally when a 25 year old - A TWENTY FIVE YEAR OLD AND HIS FATHER - take to the airwaves to bash the program and school we love. I would be embarrassed to be him and I would be embarrassed to be his father as sometimes you need to grow up and accept responsibility. He was by most accounts a bad teammate.

Good luck to whatever he does so long as he, nor is father, make ISU (or all the other stops this kids has spoiled along the way) responsible for his apparently suspect upbringing and even poorer behavior demonstrated consistently through time.

Actually the criticism is warranted, him and his father have been acting like bafoons. And deserve any criticism they have gottenZ

Really, you don't see how he has earned this criticism? Like burning all possible bridges with the University, spending two full days non-stop s***-talking the school and coaches on social media, playing the permanent victim card and hiding behind it all by means of a "hacked" account BS excuse, and watching his father act in the exact same fashion?
