Best wishes to Percy; seemed like a good teammate and Cyclone. Fred's system & playing time is hard to break into for big men with limited skills to play both front and back court.

Best of luck to Percy, hope he finds some playing time at his next stop I don't think he got worse just the talent around him increased and pushed him to the bench.

I could not have been higher on Percy after his freshman year. Sometimes things just don't work out but best of luck to him.

Good luck PG. Thanks.

I was optimistic after his FR year. Just didn't work out.

Good luck to Big Percy. He was one of my sons favorite players. I've said this before but Percy always had on a huge smile and was great with the kids at ISU ball camp. My son has a picture on his wall of himself, Percy, and Naz. After that pic was taken him and Percy chatted for about five minutes. Always thought it was great of him to take the time to talk basketball with a 7 year old like that. Our family always cheered really loud when "Big Percy" got in the game. Hope he finds a great fit and can succeed on and off the court.

Our house is going to have one sad second grader tonight when I tell him the news.

I have to say I actually am surprised since he only has one left to play. I could understand transferring more after last year. Anyway, I wish him the best!

Percy probably figured he would beat out Edozie and be a top sub this past year. Didn't happen. And the odds are less that he will play this coming year.

He's from Detroit originally so my money would be on him ending up at one of the directional Michigan schools. I wish him the best wherever he ends up

Also, I now fully expect one 5th year immediate transfer and two transfers who have to sit out now. Buddy system like every other year before this one.

Yep, this is definitely a good sign for us bringing in some high level transfers once again this year.

Good luck to Percy. I think he will do well if he gets into the right system that can build his confidence.

Good luck Percy! It's too bad things didn't work out but I think both parties benefit from this. Bring in Cole Huff please!

It sounds like Percy was a good student and a good teammate, so I wish him lots of success in the future. He struck me as a guy who was never especially bothered that he didn't play, so I am guessing he really enjoyed his time at Iowa State.
