My biggest pet peeve on this website is when they throw up player/coach interview videos, but we can't hear the questions that are being asked.

Is there a way to train the reporters to speak into a mic when they ask players and coaches questions?

I'm specifically referring to the most recent Gabe Kalscheur video from this morning.

Thank you!

That's been driving me nuts too. It's because everyone has their own microphones up by the player, and none are connected to whatever system they're using to ask the questions (if they're using anything). One would think that they could provide a microphone/speaker combo for asking questions that would be audible for all the various people recording.

This is a general problem for a lot of interviews in a broad set of settings.

Which also means that their iPhone mics are picking up sound from all over the room, not just the one who is being interviewed. The worst has to have been at the open practices where all you hear is the "beep, beep, beep" of equipment being moved.

Or the reports could just get some wrist action in and turn the mic to themselves when they ask the question and then back to the player/coach when they answer.

Perhaps ask the interviewee to repeat and/or summarize question before answering?

Reporter: Mumble, mumble, mumble?

Kalsheur: Oh, you want my take on Mumble, mumble, mumble? Well, very glad you asked...

I was going to say that during interviews on the Fanatics, Neither Chris nor Ross would ever repeat who they're talking to, so if you tuned in late or forgot their name, too bad. But CW isn't doing that anymore but if he does,

Also, people that take pictures in the dark like at a stadium or concert and have their flash on. Turn that stupid thing off, all you're doing is shining it on the people around you. It's not making it to whatever you're trying to take a picture of, and it could force your camera to focus on something close instead.
So annoying.

Also, people that put their registration stickers on their license plate around the edges. No one cares you've registered for the last 7 years. Put it in the spot it's supposed to be. This should be a revocation of Driver's License IMO. You can't follow those simple instructions so we can't trust you with a 5,000# car.

My pet peeve is when someone posts a non-basketball thread discussing pet peeves in the basketball forum.
