Phil Steele looks for bowl game from Cyclones

I hope he's right! Seems like momentum is huge in college football, so getting off to a good start could be critical.
First:

[FONT=Arial, Tahoma, Verdana]This is not true. CPR's first year here he told the players "we will go to a bowl this year" and we did. He set a goal for his guys that was measurable, achievable, with a definitive time frame.

Some upsets? This means we're only going to be favored in 2 games. We need 6 wins to go bowling, so "some" is a bit of an understatement, I'd say.

2013 TCU - 4-8, 2-7 in Big XII (Only wins were SE LA, SMU, KU, and ISU but if I recall they beat us in the final seconds)
2014 TCU - 12-1, 8-1 in Big XII (Beat Ole Miss 42-3 in Peach Bowl and probably should have been undefeated instead of blowing it against Baylor)
Big turnarounds from year to year in college football are not unheard of. I'd take half of that turnaround.
