Please please please bring back big12 title game

I think people forget another MAJOR reason to go to 12 team two division league is it's easier for several teams to achieve 0,1 or 2 loss seasons because several teams can have easy schedules at once while not having to even play each other, never can happen in current round robin big 12.

Couldn't agree more. This is how Kansas got to the Orange Bowl despite not even playing in the Big12 Championship game.

Got to get a 13th game. Have to. Have to expand to get it. Lack of 13th data point dropped Oklahoma out of a potential "home" game.

The "13th data point" narrative is nothing more than sleight of hand by the committee. They choose to use the conference championship game as #13, when a truer comparison would be the extra non-conference game.

The championship game serves as a de facto 9th league game for the ACC/B1G/SEC, matching what the Big 12 already schedules.

I dunno, they play 9 conference games and generally play tough out of conference games, along with a championship.

Bottom line is Bowlsby is a bureaucrat. We need a visionary like Delany or Sieve or whatever the old SEC commish's name is. They really want to get down to 4 conference so the championship is a quarterfinal. Right now the Big 12 will be picked apart. They need to either get 2 teams and hold a championship game like everybody else or disband and hope there is a deal for all conference members to land in a P5 conference. The eyeballs just are not there for any real sustainability also.
