I still get a message from our network that I am "about to leave a secure internet connection" when I log in to this site. This has been the case over the last couple of days and is still occurring.
I get the same message. It just started yesterday. What's up?

As you all have noticed, we have been down since late yesterday afternoon. Please do me a favor and report any site issues that you are having here in this thread. Thanks a lot and get back to talking Cyclones you fanatics!
I never had any problems until Tuesday and then I had a malware warning on my IMac at home. That warning no longer appears

CW, can you tell us what you think happened in the past week with the move to another server, three crack IT teams working feverishly, etc?

I went on here Saturday mid afternoon & a fake anti virus loaded and began telling me I had all sorts of viruses with pop-ups constantly. It also began opening windows explorer every five minutes or so to a site called porno.org. It also completely disabled any anti malware or spyware programs I tried to run. I was able to run antivirus in safe mode, but that didn't do anything. I was at my wits end when I decided to do a restore in safe mode to a point in time before all this happened and it actually worked.

I am at a public computer now & WILL NOT go on CF from any home computer. My 13 year son is completely bummed. So...WTF was/is going on??

The same thing happened to me on Saturday. It took me 1/2 day to get it straightened out. Things have been happening lately on my desktop (XP) but have not affected my laptop (Windows 7). Could Windows 7 be immune to this crap?

I also have not had any issues with Windows 7. But my work computer is XP, so I don't know if that is a factor.

I have a laptop with Windows 7 Professional as the OS. It has Trend Micro Internet Security loaded on it which so far I like.

In the last three days or so probably 10% of the time when I hit my shortcut button taking me to CF(or hitting "New posts"), Trend micro brings up a message saying that CF is a potentially dangerous site and won't let me go there. Wait a couple minutes and hit the CF button and it's fine. Not sure if what is causing this, but figured I would put it out there in case it helped someone more techy then me.

My take also is Windows 7 has something better than Windows XP. Using Ad Block probably helps the number of threats. It was interesting that IE, Firefox, and Google Chrome were under attack at various times.

CW - I think the group would be interested in a full explanantion of what happened during the last week. Latvian hackers? Porno? Embedded ads? Name of viruses detected? Etc.

I will give you that when I can. This tech stuff is way over my head.

Just got it again and turned it into a pdf file so you see what it says. Maybe it's based on wording in an ad or something I don't know, but something is going on.

Is there a way I can paste a pdf up to my post? Or am I able to only do picture files up to photobucket or some other hosting site?

Can anybody confirm that they do not have a YardBarker toolbar at the top of the main CF page? (it's not on any of my forum pages just the main www.cyclonefantatic.com page)

Yes. The Yardbarker toolbar is at the top of the home page. We are looking into doing some things with the network. It really won't affect CF in any way. It will just replace the Google advertising that you see on the site essentially.

Trend Micro is going back and forth on whether it allows me onto the forums page or not. This morning around 10 it died, but came back now... Any ideas?

Just now today, for the first time, I had a virus alert...

"This web site has been reported as an attack site and has
been blocked based on your security preference. Attack sites try to install programs that steal private information, use your computer to attack others, or damage your system.

Some attack sites intentionally distribute harmful software, but many are compromised without the knowledge or permission of their owners."

I don't know if it's related but when a page loads the side and top bars aren't loading for me now.
