Glad that CMC was upset about the KSU game. Just wish there was something that could be done about the horrible officials that seem to always get assigned to ISU games. There is never an excuse for one official being able to take over a game like that. Ask other officials to pick up flags? IF that happened to any 'Elite' team it would have been on the national news for a week.

Interesting that he sorta talked about Park, but didn't go into any details other than it was clear that was an issue with him that hurt the team.

I hope with next year's new uniforms Nike will unveil some of the coaches garments for public sale. The black with silver/white lettering gives me tingles.

The podcast was awesome, Chris.

Great podcast and approach to the interview, Chris. You can tell you have a good relationship with coach...he was open and honest about some tough situations.

Sounds like Park was more of cancer than anyone thought...

Great job Chris! Very enjoyable to listen to.

My only criticism would be that you only asked 3 "fan questions", and spent only 4 mins out of a 40 minute interview on those questions. I would have especially liked to hear CMC's comments about some of the young guys, guys coming off redshirt seasons, and incoming freshmen that he's excited about.

It's obvious that we're going to see some black uniforms, but glad he also mentioned we'll stay with a mostly traditional look, but it will be all new. That should be interesting to see.

Great questions Williams. I liked that you pried but not too much into things that we all know he couldn't fully disclose, a la the Park situation. I had heard from a little birdy that Park felt himself above criticism because of his natural talent, and that it rubbed guys the wrong way, as it should.

Good teams hold themselves and their team mates responsible. That was only a one way street with Park according to some people.

Excellent podcast. Love how they used the K State experience as fuel for the win in Memphis. Also loved how he was pissed off that no one thought to build a football trophy case. This guy and this staff back down from nothing.

I wasn't 100% on board with Campbell last year, in large part to not playing Lanning in the West Virginia game. Him admitting that was a mistake is a really big thing.

Like pretty much everyone else, I like his attitude when things go wrong. But it was nice to hear him talk about the Kansas State game and how the team really did get screwed. There were quite a few posts on here telling fans to get over it because he didn't complain about it. So it was kind of nice to hear that it did affect him and that he thought we really did deserve to win.

Overall, I thought it was great interview and there was a lot less coach speak than when he is usually interviewed.
