Curious what people want to see in order to declare 2016 a success.

Have no expectations for Campbell this year, hopefully starts to builds a strong foundation for the future. Thinking 4 wins again.

Everything is new. Nearly everyONE is new. Way too many variables to set a bar for his first season here. Winning the big 12 would be lovely, but not likely. At the least, I hope they're competitive.

Contend for a bowl game. The talent is there to get to six wins (could have got there last season save for a few bad decisions and bad bounces, but whatever. That's been rehashed enough).

But I do expect some headaches and hiccups in the transition to a new coaching staff, and I'm also nervous about how much Campbell is going to have to work with along the offensive line. I'm hopeful for at least four wins in his first year. He gets them to six or seven wins and a bowl trip in year one and we can email Pollard about an extension.

As I think we've seen from basketball, there's a little more to the transition in replacing a coach than we tend to give credit for, which is why I just want to see improvement of any kind. It may not even be in the win column necessarily. I just want to feel like the kids are being well coached and good decisions are being made.

Every single year at a minimum I will expect a bowl game, that wont ever change. No reason we shouldn't win a minimum of half our games. This year being year 1, I would say if we go into our last game of the season with 5 wins and bowl contention on the line, I would be OK.

I'm looking for an improvement over last year and am not "expecting" any more than that (4+ wins). Way too early to see what Campbell can do with his own guys picked for his own system, as most will be redshirting this year.

Campbell gets us bowling. We had talent on the field last year, we just needed competent coaching in the big moments/close games. I think Campbell and his staff will have that.

3-4 wins. But the attrition has only begun, so I'll feel more comfortable about that once the scholarship number is down to 85.

This year - improve from last season with no blatantly stupid coaching decisions (Kstate, field goal, etc). The talent is there, but I've gotta keep expectations reasonable for a first year coach taking over a bad team in a good conference.

Next year - contend for a bowl. Year two with Campbell and crew should give us a better idea of what we have from a coaching standpoint.

Any kind of improvement. Keep blazing the recruiting trail. Establish the Campbell culture. This is a process.

I voted for "contend for a bowl game 5-6 wins" because I will define "success" this year as 5 wins. In my eyes 4 wins is an improvement and not a disaster, but not success.

But doesn't a 6 win season make a bowl pretty much a lock for a P5 conference team?

My actual number of wins will inc/decr depending on injuries. My range is 4 to 7.
