Our three man front has proven to work well against teams that want to run the football. As long as we don't gift Baylor with a special teams gaff we win. Give me the Clones 27-20.
Thinking this will be low scoring - they will try to establish the run but our stout run D prevents that from happening - lot of Baylor punts in this one. Cyclones 24-17.

In a game with such a close competitive/talent level, I will take the home field advantage to win out. Crowd comes alive and pushes ISU over the top. Close entering 4Q, with ISU putting it away and winning by 10 late.
Biggest thing that concerns me about this game is Baylor's D-Line vs our O-Line. I think it'll be the toughest test yet. We get to find out how good they really are tomorrow. I will take ISU -2.5, but I'd take Baylor if it were to go up any.
I like our chances on stopping the run or at least slowing down the run. We've always been very good against the run these past couple years, the short hitch routes are what has killed us. See last years West Virginia game, or SEMO etc.
I think Baylor's offense gives us troubles early and in classic Heacock fashion, ISU clamps down in the 2nd half. Baylor out to an early 14-0 lead, ISU gets back in it by half, 17-14 BU, and 2nd half ISU pulls ahead and hangs on. Good guys 24, BU 20
ISU -2.5
Under 45.5
ISU -6.5
Over 40.5
ISU -0.5 first half spread
Under 23.5 first half points
ISU by 1-13 points
$50 wager for a chance at $3,167.51. It's not a smart wager (it's absolutely horrendous), but figure why the hell not give it a go after winning $250 for my two parlays against Iowa.
Hoping for a 24-17 victory with ISU being up 13-7 at the half.
I caught the line Sunday AM when it dropped and it was Baylor -1. Made a few little parlays with that in it. I normally wouldn't touch that game, but I figured the first BIGXII game will likely be tight and at -1? Practically a pick em
