The reported salary of NU's new AD is $1 million base plus incentives, supposedly #2 in the BIG. I was wondering how much does Pollard make in base and incentives?

Over the last 10 years ISU has paid him 4.3 million. He's been worth a lot more.

I miss getting into embarrassing pis$ing matches on message boards with Bruce van de Velde. But other than that, I am glad ISU has Jamie.

Just happy for him that he seems healthy after that heart issue

He posted pictures after running the DM half marathon today. He said something like he never though he'd be happy about 13 miles. For those of us who aren't runners, I can't imagine not being thrilled at 13 miles ;)

I'm pretty sure the quality of life is better in Ames than Lincoln. Money isn't everything, but building is in his eyes I think. He still has a ways to go in his eyes for ISU. NU is far ahead of us in money and (previous) stature. His son is running for us so in my opinion it will be a while, if ever.

I think Jamie is around a $700,000 base and every 3-5 years I think he gets some type of longevity bonus. I think a couple of years ago he made around $900,000 with one of those bonuses.

He is worth every penny and I hope the new President does not give him a reason to leave so he is still around when the next crazy cycle runs in 2024-2025.

I'm 99% sure I couldn't even take down a mile straight now.

Dang he beat me by 13 minutes today. I'm not a runner but congrats to him on a great run!
