I know we saw tons of negatives yesterday, but what were some positives you actually did see?
A few I saw were Downing having some good punts, decent pass protections while Farniok was in, and Brackens making some good plays. Any other ones people saw?

West Des Moines Dowling? I wasn't aware they had a good punting day Friday night?

Just teasing you.... but his name is Downing, not Dowling.

Well you might take some heat for this thread today but I'll try. Lazard got on the board with a big catch in his first game for what 40 yds? Unfortunately that might make him the leading yardage receiver. We also won the first quarter and know that the offense is capable of scoring on a good defense. I also thought Alton Meeks looked the part until going out of the game. Nigel Tribune also played a fairly solid game even though they have the corners give such a large cushion.

daisy dukes in the student section....that is a positive.
I liked that so many people wore red. It looked good.

Positive? I've never seen the cyclone fan base so unified after defeat.

Negative? The unity is, unfortunately, in opposition to the head coach.

I love the smart *** remarks on here. Is it hard to be positive after a beat down? Yes... But there are still legit positives out there. I'm still gonna show up to as many games as I can and cheer this team on, they will grow as the season moves on. I know I'm going to get attacked for trying to move on from yesterday by the idiotic fans who act like the world is ended. This is a game that is playing for fun. We got beat by a better team yesterday. Oh well, it happens. At least we are still fortunate to have a team, I mean some of you act like children on here and think coaching and making staff changes are such am easy thing to do.

Crowd exit was orderly. Sunburn was a minimum.

When deciding how to spend my ticket dollars earlier this summer I chose to throw down for CBE tickets instead of tickets for this game.

God Bless you....there wasn't much.

1. Downing did get better.
2. Hit the extra points
3. I thought Sam was better than last year until the wheels fell off......even though he ran more than I would like, he was more poised and kept his eyes up field.
4. I loved seeing Lazard in there.
5. The defense started out awfully good.

Not much, but there will be better days.

Looks like as lot of our tickets were successfully sold to NDSU fans as yellow was interspersed throughout the stadium.
