honestly, I have not heard of any that wasn't 100% based on speculation - so and so doesn't look happy....BF also has said at a couple press conferences we will see at the end of the season who wants to be here and who doesn't - meaning people that don't want to play the ISU way...he has also included himself in those comments.

I get the feeling there are some folks who want players to transfer in order to justify their continued vilification of Bill.

Why are people trying to Villify Bill Fennelly. I don't get it. Is it because he demands his players play the right way. Is it because he is a disiplin type coach? I really don't get it. He has done nothing but good at Iowa State.

I don't believe there is a vilification at all. There have been some valid concerns regarding Bill's behavior at times...especially with the odd transferring of Schroll who is hard as nails.

Does not mean 99 % of the fans do not appreciate everything he has done. I hope there are no more player movement and Bill is able to move the team forward and up the Big12 ladder.

According to whom?

Well...according to what I seen at courtside the last couple of years. She displayed far more attitude > other players currently on the team.

That is what made it so baffling at the time.

Again...Bill is a great coach. So not looking to get into a stupid internet fight over that.

Fingers are crossed that Nicky sticks around. She always just seemed to roll her eyes when Bill would take her out and lecture her.

I don't think anyone here has any real info on transfers. It's all just speculation. The most obvious possibility is Mays -- she hasn't gotten off the bench since the non-conference schedule.

I don't think any Cyclone fan really wants Bill to not be here. He has built this program. I think the thing people see is this year his behavior, language, and attitude was a lot more than we've seen in the past few years.
I know he's a hard as nails coach, but this year, there was points where I thought it was close/almost too far. You could hear F-Bombs drop from a long ways up, and him bumping girls, getting in there face more than usual.
I'm not sure how much is because of health or not, but he seemed a little more vocal this year than the past.

Okay . . I'll bite . . what are the valid concerns? BTW, are you saying this as a Cyclone fan or UNI fan?

I think the reason his behavior and attitude appeared much more aggressive this year is his cancer. As silly as that may sound, when you can barely talk and have to go see a doctor ALL the time, you won't be the same. He's always been a loud and aggressive coach, when he can't be loud, he's going to come off as more aggressive. He can't yell plays to his players so communication wasn't the same. He had to completely change how he coached and he probably hated it.

I thought with redshirting you had to announce it prior to the season. Just speculation but I would think transfer possible candidates could be Fallon, Kileah, and Harris.

No announcement is necessary. If the player has 0 games played at the end of the season, they can use it as a redshirt year.

I'm with red on this one. Mays seems very likely and this has been in the wind since January.
