Okay, now is "Iowa State University" clearly more recognizable on this helmet than it is on our current ones? I know lots of people on this board prefered this style helmet logo over our current one because it was "more recognizable." Um, really? Rant off.

And even a little Chris Taylor is a lot of Chris Taylor. I can't believe that little dude is throwing him like that.

I hear you on that...

There's a lot of complaints about "ketchup and mustard" with our current unis. Well, taking a look at some of these "old school" unis is making me hungry for a cook-out.

Those unis are screaming for a red helmet, not a gold one.

And truthfully, when looking at those, I think our current logo is MUCH more distinctive than the "I" with what looks like an incoherent blob running down it.
