Once had a local legend basketball coach who always had very good teams. This guy loved the game so much that he genuinely was happy for a coach who got him. Didn't happen very often, but he just loved to see great basketball played by anyone. Maybe same attitude????

Bill spent way way too many years running up scores on us to think that.

You’re looking at an old person whose mortality is staring him in the face. He’s just trying to get in to heaven now.

I haven't yet decided if Snyder is fake with this kind of **** or just a genuinely good human being.

I mean, I know the letters he sends and stuff like that are real since there's no real reason for him to fake that but this kind of stuff just seems like a little much.

I could tell you recruiting stories that former teammates told me which would make the decision to not like him very easy.

What was he supposed to say? If the game was fixed it probably didn' have anything to do with him.
Was he supposed to just not score on that last drive so we could feel better?
I'm all for being upset at the refs for their 'officiating' of this game, but I don' get being upset with Snyder for taking what was given to him.

Okay, just suggesting that some people are like that. You all know Bill better than I ever will.

For starters, he could stop coaching his DB's to mug our receivers clearly beyond what the rules allow with the understanding that they were likely to get away with it.

Anyone have video of the post game hand shake - conversation with the head official and Snyder? Can’t recall ever seeing such a thing. Seems like they just sprint off the field as soon as the game ends.
I thought this was really strange too. You never see a ref do this. They shared a handshake and a longer exchange than Campbell had time for. It was weird, and the timing of it, coming off some "questionable" reversals, all of which Smith had a direct voice in, is shady AF.

This isn't WV basketball. Maybe he teaches his players to do that, but I'd be very surprised if that was the case. Again, I don't think he told the refs to pick up the flags...
I get everybody is upset, but some of us are going a little overboard.

Are you serious? That’s a staple of KSU

That's dumb. This is football not some call your own foul rec league.

What is it with all of the age discrimination? Snyder’s still a human being who deserves the same dignity and respect as any other person. He’s obviously proven he can still coach. Some of the comments on here are flat-out embarrassing.

Sorry, way too much hand contact, grabbing, holding by KSU DBs on receivers coming out of a cut to call that football. Everybody does it occasionally. KSU does it repeatedly because they have trouble covering without committing penalties.
