Bold prediction: I won't care about any of this unless there is an injury. I don't care if someone scores 75 points I won't care. I don't care if someone parachutes on to the court dressed in a singlet I won't care. If Fran McCaffrey runs out of the stands and assaults a ref after a correct call I won't care. If Cyclone Alley doesn't stand up for the entire game even timeouts I won't even care.

I take it you won't care?

I think you're right that there will be some experimenting with lineups, but I don't think we'll struggle in this game in large part based on Viterbo's lineup. They are NAIA and biggest guy is 6'6". They aren't even NCAA Division II. I just don't see them posing as much of a challenge as previous exhibition opponents. Still, if Fred does pull the regulars for most of the second half, I could see ISU staying around 100 as the subs often don't score as well as the first and second team. Can't wait for the fun to begin again!
There's gonna be 1--12 guys that get double digit minutes in the game. My guess is the regulars like Niang defer to the younger guys to help them get some reps. There will be walk ons out there the last 3-6 minutes.

Down 2 with 10 seconds left. We'll ISO Edozie at the top of the key, and watch him hit a fall away 3 as time expires.

Book it.

We only have 2 walkons and Kourlin Jackson, while technically a walk-on, but has scholarship level talent and athleticism. They are both PGs, so the front line will be scholarship players at all times, and probably go 6'4", 6'10", 7'1" during scrub time.

Also, from the scrimmage reports, Niang and Long deferred to others during the scrimmage, Custer barely played and Thomas and Nader only played a half and we still put up 103 against a middle-of-the-pack Big10 team. Unless Hoiberg really calls off the dogs and starts running the clock (and what's the point of that?) there is no way we should score <100 against a NAIA team.

What's a Viterbo?

"if pain and swelling persist, stop taking Viterbo immediately".
