If the school is sitting at where the projections have it in the next few years? Leath by a large margin. I love me some Fred as much as the next guy, but the basketball coach is not the university.

LOL your silly. People know Fred Hoiberg, he is a household name and I would bet you 50% of the people in Iowa don't even know who Steven Leath is. So while Fred is a basketball coach he is also a Face of the University.

Leath has expanded the university at a rate never seen before and is doing truly amazing things and you are all worried about a decision on some well below average basketball player that got his own *** in trouble. It's mind numbing.

Talking about burning effigies and how catastrophic this is, my God, find some ******* reality.

Leath has only been here one year. How can any expansion of the university be directly credited to yet?

Leath would go down in infamy if he is the reason that Hoiberg leaves ISU. There would effigies, and he would be forced to resign. It would be ugly. VEISHEA times 3,000 ugly.
More like VEISHEA with us have WV over to help us burn stuff ugly!

Heh. Watch Bubu play then watch Morris play. If you can't see a difference you need to find a new sport, because clearly this one isn't working for you.

Bubu wasn't even the backup PG last year. When he was on the court Clyburn had to take over ball handling duties. If Bubu was thought of as the starting PG coming in, it was only by default as the only PG on the roster prior to the new guys showing up.
Yep, you're an idiot.

ISU has been raking in the research money lately which is what drives the university. He has a great vision of branding the DSM-Ames area corridor which is long overdue. As an administrator he's excellent.

Some of you need to cut out the dumb jock mentality. ISU is a lot larger than a walk-on basketball player.

I think we'll have to agree to disagree.

And I am far from being a "dumb jock".

mj4cy is right. Like I said earlier, there is a board of justice affairs or some stupid board that does nothing important for Iowa State that had someone linked with the "victim" in the case. Leath did have his hands tied. Either way, he should've still let him team and attack the lady with blackmail before she could attack him for letting a dude on the team who did nothing wrong.

I want to get this thread back on track. So when I was standing at the urinal at the Kansas game I was pretty sure Geoffrey was standing at the urinal next to me. But I couldn't decide whether it was him or not (I didn't want to look too close). My wife told me that it couldn't have been him because he moved away. Now it sounds like he is still around. I am going to throw that in her face so hard.

Geoffrey is a faculty member in Chemistry. I don't know if he teaches, but he does have an office in Hach Hall.
