From watching the video, it appears that he has some pretty decent moves from that left block and left elbow. Georges usually operates on the right side; could be a great complement. I can see so many wrap around passes from Georges to a wide open Harris in the block.

Tyler would be a good match for ISU needs and his skill set. From watching some of his game I think he can play some SF, PF and C for CFH and complete a 4 man rotation of Niang, McKay and Nader for next season.

Harris looks to have a scheduled visit with Auburn/Pearl May 1-3 and the GT one was rumored to be this weekend per twitter, though that looks to not be happening if he is in Ames. VCU has also inquired. Hopefully CFH will be able to lock down his commitment before he leaves town Sunday. Breakfast at the Hoibergs could seal the deal.

He looks like a great fit. I'm curious how ISU got on his radar, or he on ours. Adam Zangoria tweeted on April 1st that his list of prospective schools was 10 and ISU wasn't on the list. https://twitter.com/AdamZagoria/status/583273322781106176. Guess we'll wait and see if it's true and how he likes what he sees if it is. I've always said that I would prefer a one-and-done of this variety over the typical high school blue chipper. I get why people are ga ga crazy over the Diallos/Vaughns of the world, but a mature college tested body with a great skill set seems a better bet than some of the youngsters.

Some interesting comments on the tweet.

Congrats in advance on making the best decision of your life Tyler!

Terrell is his father

"The main thing is we're looking to a school that can make it to the (NCAA) Tournament and make a big run and win the tournament," Terrell Harris said. "Tyler feels that if they have if they have all the pieces there, he can be that impact player that can take them over the hump and lead them to the tournament."

A post that average 9.9pts, 4reb and shot 73% from the line would be pretty good to solidify the front court.

Well if that's what he's actually looking for, then welcome Tyler.

Only school I'm scared of there is Arizona.

Yes please. If what his father is saying is actually true, then the only team I would fear on his prospective list potentially over us would be Arizona. With that said, we have a high success rate of landing these type of transfers during this time of year when we can actually get them on campus. Here is to hoping both him and Nick commit on the spot this weekend.

Some more info from the Providence athletics page: http://www.friars.com/sports/m-baskbl/mtt/tyler_harris_810471.html

...Registered one of his top performances in 2011 versus St. Patrick's Michael Gilchrist when he scored 25 points and grabbed 12 rebounds and was named MVP of the Showcase Game...

It's from high school, but still impressive that he beat MKG for MVP and put up that stat line. Hope he likes Hoiball and commits

TH is listed with an ISU Intrest on Goodmans Transfer list on 4/20. Safe to say it is legit.
