My brother-in-law is looking for a non dish way to get Fox Sports North. He lives in Ankeny and was wondering if PS Vue had it. Does anyone have any experience with this?

I live n Ankeny and use PS Vue and wonder why the hell did I stick with DirecTv so long.

It works like a gem. Never once had any issues. I just use the Roku Premiere+ for it.

Do you get FS North? The website says it is has Fox Sports Prime Ticket (no clue what this is). Other areas around Des Moines say it is FS North.

It says it has Fox Sports Prime Ticket in Ankeny. The other poster says that he gets FS north. I am wondering if it is a glitch in their website. I have no clue what FS Prime ticket is. There is hardly anything online about it.

Also in Ankeny on Vue, I get FSNorth. The Fox Sports GO app also lets me watch FSMidwest

This.

I haven't even had to put up an antenna for the local stations. I was able to watch the golf tournament this weekend on the Fox Sports GO app and the NBA finals on the watch ESPN app by logging in with my Vue info all through the FireTV box. The only thing I might miss are some of the bball non-con games that were on channels like MSG.

I have had Direct TV for 8+ years now and have been thinking of switching to something cheaper. I see the live TV claim and was wondering for you folks who have the Vue if it is live TV or if it is like watching Netflix with a menu.

It's live. I have it and have buffering issues when watching "recorded" or On Demand stuff sometimes. Most of the time it isn't Mediacom's fault. Almost never have any issues on my PS4. I'm open to trying other services, but my wife likes this set up with Amazon Fire. Also in Ankeny and haven't missed a game.

I've used PSVue in Ankeny for about 8 months, it has been great. The DVR and channel selection (don't have sports channels split btwn two packages as on Sling) makes it better than Sling in my opinion. Use with mediacom and Amazon Fire TV (the box, not the stick).

It has live TV with a tv guide, and you can "menu" through your recorded (For some shows there is a slight difference between DVRd and subscribed to shows with regards to commercial/fast forwarding).

Just watched a quick video of what PSVue looks like on Amazon Fire and it's night and day better than the Roku interface. Might have to make the switch.

Yah I keep debating if I want to replace one of my Roku 4's.
I'm not sure why there's such a issue getting an update for Vue.

Vue has Comcast, and as a Cubs fan that's huge. Between that and KCWI, I'm able to catch a lot of games.

And there is some on KDSM too. Almost catch every game if you want to between Vue and a good pair of rabbit ears.

I also have PSVue in Ankeny and it does have FS North. And I also now wonder why I stuck with Dish Network for so long. I stream it through Amazon Fire TV and it's great.

I live in Ankeny and don't get Fox Sports North. I called today afternoon reading these posts and they told me my zip of 50021 doesn't get FSN, but I think I should be able to watch through Fox Sports Go app. Strange that some in Ankeny get FSN and I don't.
