I will root for them. Their team did not blow the whistles or not blow the whistles back on 02/20.. If that happened in favor of ISU we would say thank you very much, and tell people a wins a win at the end of the day..

Every other team can go far, making our conference look good. Kansas can go screw themselves

I don't know many Jayhawk fans, but every fan base has an EMAW. The Jayhawks I actually know (3 that I can think of) agreed and didn't try to defend that game at all. I like to see the Big 12 win and cheer for Big 12 teams (except the defects, of course) no matter who they play in nonconference and tournaments, I like to be in a competitive conference. Helps our chances of making the tournament when you can go 9-9 during conference and still get in like Texas last year. Conference prestige helps each team with recognition, recruiting, and can't hurt tournament selection and seeding. Otherwise it wouldn't be a recruiting pitch in all the EA Sports games.

Never thought I'd say this, but I hope KU loses every game they play. After that game at Hilton, that did it for me.

KU winning in the tourney just helps them maintain B12 dominance, including in recruiting/ESPN games, etc. I can see cheering for other B12 teams, though.

Well, I'm def with you on the point about KU running off consecutive championships; that's embarrassing for the B12 and to think next year they will tie UCLA's streak.

But as far as deep dance runs, I (used) to always cheer for B12 teams; except this year, I'll root against KU and E Johnson.

They didn't blow the whistle, but they did throw down an uncontested dunk at the end of the game. Johnson and Releford were also complete jerks to the crowd. I won't blame the team for the calls, but I will remember the classless behavior.

Won't be easy to root for Kansas. Won't be at all.

Um hell no. I don't give a **** about rooting for teams just because they are in the Big 12. I do kinda root for OSU though, I hope they go far in the dance.

This is how I feel. Maybe in the regular season it makes sense because there is a tangible advantage to ISU for them to do well. In the tournament, it doesn't matter. I also agree on OSU. I am hoping we will be like them as far as success in about 5-8 years.

I'll cheer against them for the Big 12 tourney, but then cheer for all the Big 12 teams against the likes of the over hyped big 10. I don't think I'd judge their fans based on the loons on message boards. Most message board fans are loons. JHawks I know acknowledge it was a screw job and they got very lucky in both games.

Kansas is classy. I want everyone to see how classy and genetically superior their fans are. Kansas fans are fly and like children and the helpless more than most other homosapiens.

KU-LOSE.

This is true. The cheating and connivance with the referees heck is almost expected. The audaciousness of their attitude after this game when they know they have over-reached on a national stage is what is especially diabolical this time. The disingenuous PR battle with the tweets and the mobilization of the KU media guard had been sickening. The GSB apology and the chutzpah that Bill Self and his McDonalds All American Azzholes have reacted when the entire United States is calling them out as cheaters has been singularly breathtaking. Never forget.

I root for other Big 12 schools in OOC games. This is no different.

Won't break my heart if they lose.

Those who are ripping KU fans need to get past the internet some time. I went to Lawrence for this year's ISU/KU football game, and their fans were some of the best I've encountered. Just because they're complete twats on the internet isn't a good reason to throw them all under the bus.

Screw cheering for KU just because they're in the Big 12. This conference and its members would dump us in our own dumpster fire if it had the chance. They're not loyal to us (see KU and Baylor games) - why the hell should we be loyal to it?

Cheering for a team just because they play in the same conference as you is asinine.

At the end of the day you don't root for the fans of the school.

I'm saying that the message board crowd, as a whole, isn't indicative of the fanbase. Applies for about any school.

Most team boards posters are the crazy fringe and a small minority of the actual fanbase. I was in Lawrence as well this year for the football game and had a great time and the people were awesome. That being said I can never root for KU basketball.
